Rachel Tang

Founder and Principal of The Pink Room Int’l Nail Academy, Rachel Tang has under her belt the Level 1 Nailist License from Japan Nailist Association, the highest recognized level of skill certification for Nailist in Japan.

Rachel currently sits as the Chairman for Singapore’s Local Nail Association; the Nailist Association for International License Singapore (NAILS) aims at rising the professionalism and skill level for all nailist in Singapore and around the world through a common licensing certification.

She is also licensed and competent with the Korean’s Nailist Licensing System. As a Qualified Examiner of Korea Government’s Qualification Association, Rachel invigilates for the Korea’s Nail Expert Association’s Nailist License Examinations. Nail Licenses aside, Rachel is a Certified Educator of numerous nail product systems and nail education certification all over the world, from USA, Korea, Japan to name a few.

Rachel believes that being a skilled Nailist is only the basic requirements to being a good trainer. Thus with her numerous invigilating for nail examinations and judging experiences both locally and internationally; Rachel has gained great sensitivity and accuracy in her standard assessments for high quality work in international nail competitions.


Rosy Guarini

Senior Education Manager and Founder of the Rome Nail Academy,Rosy Guarini, trained as a tech in Y2K before opening the first nail academy in Italy. Still involved at 65 years of age. First Italian winning an award at The Nailympics London in the Mixed Media category in 2005. Rosy Guarini a is the nail art master at the Rome Nail Academy.

She is passionate about education and makes it her mission to get the best techs over each year to inspire and motivate her student and staff. She travels all around the world to learn the latest trends and keep her education at the highest standards. Looking for excellence she is honored  to judge the Nailympics 2011.

“I strongly believe that a good education is the basis for the development of this industry. Watching at the great works of the masters,  but also what beginners can do, is a source of inspiration for whoever wishes to start with the right approach a career in the nail industry. It is important to  stress over and over the importance of education.  Nailympics is the lighthouse for all nail technicians. In the open sea of improvisation, they should keep following that light and harbour in the secure waters of professionalism.”


Patricia Yankee

Patricia has been a leading celebrity manicurist for the past six years. Pattie is signed to an Artist Representation Agency in New York, where she services celebrity clients and provides expert advice to numerous beauty publications, blogs, and websites. She is a regular at NYC Fashion Week events, collaborating with top fashion designers to custom-mix polishes and create unique nail styles to complement their lines. Pattie’s Fashion Week looks have received widespread acclaim and have left a lasting impression on the nail industry. Pattie’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail makes her one of the most sought after nail experts in the industry today.

Patricia holds an impressive client roster including, P. Diddy, Kate Winslet, Brooke Shields, Raven Simone, Jordin Sparks, Hillary Duff, and Kelis. She has also worked with Lucinda Scala Quinn for her episodes of the Hallmark Channel’s Mad Hungry and Donnie McClurkin, the Grammy gospel artist, for his CD cover.

Rachel Ray is a regular client and is often donning a Patricia Yankee manicure at photo shoots for her magazine and on her TV shows. Patricia also manicured the Kardashian sisters, Kourtney and Kim, for their New York show’s ad campaign.

Patricia has also created numerous nail creations for Chrisette Michelle, Grammy award-winning recording artist. The two have worked together for Chrisette’s concerts, events, album covers and videos. Most recently, Patricia was behind the scenes of Chrisette’s new music video, “Goodbye Game”, customizing a unique look for the artist that was inspired by an unlikely pair – Cruella De Vil and Cinderella. The end result was a combination of metallic, almond-shaped tips, and lace.

For Katy Perry, Patricia has created numerous looks which gave generated coverage from bloggers and magazines alike. For Katy’s candy-themed concert for Windows Phone launch, Pattie designed “candyland” nails – a whimsical multi-color sprinkle covered nail. Pattie has also been Katy Perry’s manicurist for several of her concerts, the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, her Purr Perfume launch, SNL and other events.

Pattie has over 25 years in the nail industry. She has been recognized by Nails Magazine with 3rd, 2nd, and 1st runner-up Honorable Mentions from 1999-2001, before being named Nail Tech of the Year in 2005. Patricia has educated for several major nail companies including the worldwide Dashing Diva Franchises. She has assisted in launching stores across the U.S., Japan, Kuwait, Manila, Singapore, China and Australia. She is the company’s Education/Artistic Director. Pattie is a salon owner, a Master Technician with Creative Nail Design and a N.Y. State Examiner for nail appearance enhancement.
